After the weekend, and becoming an uncle (again) I have turned my attention back to the blog, and I am trying to improve on it a little, to get some more interesting things, and work out how the best to proceed…

But that is not good for you, the reader, when you think that you would like to see a section solely on Jenni, for example, and I keep posting other things that get in the way!!! So, what I am thinking of doing, is splitting the blog in to sections so you can have this… Whilst Mr B over in the corner can have more of that, and also reader over there can get what they want!

If there are any regulars who would like to suggest me things, then I would be happy to read the comments!!!

Today, I am going to have a look at something that is quite overlooked in most erotic circumstances, but is still one of the best art forms I have found. The naked form.

No, I am not talking about the way that there are someone doing this that or the other. I am just talking about the shape of the female body.

When you think of naked female, what do you think… This model or that model doing this or that pose, or do you think of the Venus de Milo, or your other half? Well, I think of the latter two. Seriously, naked conceptualisation is a very powerful erotic medium, and this can lead to some interesting explorations in the art form.

Some of the images that I have included here, are nothing, but just a naked person in the photograph, and that is something that has too be appreciated to be seen (I didn’t make a typo error here, it is what I think .) To be able to truly understand eroticism you have to be able to understand the human figure.

A lot of people stare at girls (and men) in the street, and think “My God, they are beautiful” but that is with the clothes on! Beauty goes a lot deeper than physical appearance, it also encompasses, the intellect, the nature and the compassion a person portrays, and it is also in their eyes.

Have a look through these photographs from Nena Blue, by the artist Gabrielle Rigon, and they portray something slightly different to the usual.

Today on the blog, I am concentrating on one photographer, and that photographer is EcceHomo.

There is something about his sensual, smooth style that is ever so pleasing on the eye. There is also something really sexual in the way he caputres the beauty and poise of the models. This is a photographer who understands how to make sexy look natural on camera.

Some photographers take a style, and they stick with it. Others just blow you away with their sheer creativity. Some just rewrite the rules, and there is some of EcceHomo’s work that does exactly that.

Don’t ask me to say in what way, I don’t know. However if you have the eye, then here is certainly some erotica that is worth the look!

An interesting subject came up last night, as I was talking to a few friends. Yes some of them know what my job entails, and they were asking me all the questions that surrounded it… Until one of my friends sat back and thought a moment.

He thought and thought, and then posed a pertinent question along the lines of “Would you let one of the photographers who take the pictures for Nena Blue, do your wedding photographs?”

Bump, you can imagine the scene… I am sat in a bar with some friends, and we are all having a really rowdy session, then someone drops this question… Deadly silence, and I have a group of expectant faces pointed in my direction.

And what do I say? Well, I said… “Um, let me think about that one…”

It may seem a clear cut answer, either yes, or no… But then you get a lot of headaches, of if you did ask one of your contributors, which one would you ask…

There are lots of things to be taken in to debate. If you want the lights done right, you know which ones you would ask, but if you wanted something special when it came to composition, or humorous touch, or something, then who would you ask?

Yeah, I know all of the people on the site are really good at what they do, but would you really want your grandmother to know that the guy, or lady, with the camera usually takes naked pictures? I know it is something, but I am not sure… I wouldn’t really want my grandmother to know that the photographer, takes naked pictures. I don’t even think she knows what I do all day… I usually say to her that I am just programming things on a computer.

I’ve digressed slightly, this is not meant to be ranting on whether my gran likes my job, but it is more about would I invite some of the guys from work as photographers for my (non-existent) wedding…

Well, let us turn to the evidence… Lets get the photos up here to compare…

So first up is this image from the Bessons’, with their creative lighting skills, and also their way they can bring out something that most people would either not see or completely overlook.

Or we could get Chad Michael Ward in to do some… Well, that would be different, and as I am a big fan of the style of the Matrix films, and that slightly gothic, dark mood… I think this American genius may be someone cool to have as your wedding photographer…

But I think that the choice, would have to be…. (No, not you Mr Page, if I’m going to be having glass pointed at me, you are going to be up there with me!)

I think that it would have to be Lady Morgana, for the plain and simple fact that my partner is a good looking girl, and I am a plain ugly brute (that is why I am usually behind the Nikon!) and who better to capture the natural grace and beauty of a woman, than a woman???

Well, it was only a strange conversation that went awry in the bar last night, so I can go back tonight and give the guys the link to this post on the blog of Nena Blue and tell them to read the answer!

Grrr, I am really annoyed…

Look at that beauty, that elegance… The beautiful tones of colour, the luscious shape… I could sit here and stare at these images all day.

When I encountered these images this morning whilst looking through Nena Blue, I was drooling, and ogling that grace and beauty…

I WANT, I WANT AND I WANT…

(I am talking about the guitar here, not the model, but she is beautiful as well!!!)

Looking back into the galleries, I am still constantly amazed by some of the imagery that I find in there. I love it! It is like having the best photographers in the world popping around for a cup of tea and showing you their portfolio!

Also, it is a good place to get ideas, but my ideas are a little different to what Nena Blue holds on a daily basis. I am looking at new and interesting ways to do portrature, because I am waiting on the arrival of my niece into this world, and I have been elected to do the photography! I think that is probably I am the one with the biggest camera, or something like that…

No, seriously, though as a point of reference to getting ideas, it is a great place to start… What with some of the creative lighting effects, and also the vision that some of the photographers have, it makes me really think on how I take photographs back in ‘the real world’.

So, enough about me trying to get images sorted out for taking baby photographs, and here have a look at these three from Sacha Hüttenheim!

The blog seems to be falling more and more by the wayside, perhaps it is because it is a little disheartening when I get on to it and find that there are more and more Spam messages that need dealing with.

Yes, it is all well and good blocking Spam e-mails and posts from the site, but then the problem is you cannot block everything, or you would be there all year! And also if you do, who would see it?

I am unsure to why these people think that spamming a blog is a good idea, because, when they do, I just send the e-mails and the posts which are done by an automated system to the bin… But that makes a long job, looking through them all, and seeing which is actually a useful comment, or what is not…

On an average day, the amount of spam comments is somewhere around 50, but some days, like this morning, it was a lot higher… It is something that becomes a little bad, and I don’t know if people get to see this, when they have their own blogs, but it makes me wonder why people actually bother when they are getting all this sort of thing…

So enough of the grumping, from this end, and time to battle through it with a few photographs!

I know the blog has been a bit lacking, of late, but we are busy with things that are going to make up for it! Yes, I have been working alongside some other webmasters, and we have been getting some ideas about what we can do to make Nena Blue a better experience for everybody!

I’m scratching around Nena Blue for some inspiration… I am looking for some dark imagery to match the mood I am in, because of things that have happened within the family over night. However, I am finding it hard to find something really dark… Because that is not what Nena Blue is all about.

Yes, there are some dark touches within the pages on Nena Blue, but there is nothing that really relates to how I am feeling at present.

I know I should be able to find something, but I just don’t have the inspiration for going really deep!

I seem to have surpassed myself in the level of blogging today! What with the cat, and also the replacement of images…

However, I want to comment on something, that I have found to be quite upsetting in the forums… The way that people see the models in the adult industry.

I am upset by people saying that a lot of these models are lifeless bimbos with no talent, just a good body… However, I want to disagree with that.

Most of the people who I have had the pleasure of meeting and working with are far from stupid. The image of the industry may seem something bad, but when you boil it all down it is exactly the same as on the television, or in the fashion magazines. Yes, the genres are different, BUT there is not a lot of difference between some of the concepts.

Everybody I have met is unique, some are absolute crackpots, some are absolute genius… Some just make you trip over and gag at their sheer creativity, beauty and whatever else.

Some people who I have spoken to think that some of the models are just the same as a product in a butchers shop window… Just like the chunk of meat that you would drool over when your mother cooked Sunday lunch, but this is so, so untrue…

If you need to be reminded about some of the best and most commented entries on Nena Blue, they are actually PHOTOGRAPHED by a MODEL….

You know the ones I am talking about, Vampires et al, were photographed by the extremely attractive Morgana, who just happens to be as good behind the camera as she does in front of it.

OK, rant over, I have been looking at a collection that Nena Blue is unleashing on the world on Monday, and I am stupendously amazed by this collection. It is a collection by the aforementioned Morgana, with the model who I only know as Jewels.

I am not going to tell you what the collection is here, but I know that it will make a good splash when you see it, and also that there will be some serious talking to be on this topic.

And it goes to prove that the ‘industry’ that we are in is more than just a little bit of something to waste time. There are creative, dark, moody, and also bright and cheerful…
